I run http://www.povertyscape.com as part of my charity work for Lifestile a uk registered charity, and I think that the state of mind comments are fantastic I would like to use this on our site. Hi Ed, It’s taken me a while to realize that people who live in the poverty mentality may NEED the opportunity, but they are not open or interested in the opportunity. The only person able to change that negative mindset is that person not me regardless of how fabulous the opportunity is. One thing I’ve been directed to say to people is “This may not be a good fit for you”; now I understand why. Thanks for giving us these gems of wisdom that remind us of what works, what doesn’t and what to do about it.
